If you’re in search of fall colors, birds or a glimpse of the nighttime sky, this is the place! We have plenty of high school and college football, plus volleyball. If you like hockey, Prairie Thunder Ice Hockey team’s home games offer plenty of action. Some great fall festivals and other special events are on tap, and historic sites in the area offer new perspective on life in McLean County in earlier times.

Local venues feature an eclectic mix of performers and bands, and The Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Wesleyan University and Illinois State University all provide a full schedule of musical entertainment. Outstanding theatrical productions are presented at both universities, and by our community-based theatre groups. The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts hosts a full line-up of entertainment with something for everyone to enjoy.
