Members of the Earth-Energy-Ecology Club at NCHS to do power point presentation
Club members Stephanie Giancatarino, Sara Fink (co-presidents), BreAnn Nott, Liz Fink, Ellen West, Adam Lansing, and Amanda Lauderdall brought in water samples from creeks, lakes and ponds in out community. The students have tested the water samples and are doing a power point presentation at the Clean Water Celebration at the Civic Center in Peoria on March 18, 2002. Many Illinois High schools and middle schools through out the state attend this conference.
On March 16, 2002 the NCHS E-E-E Club will help with the next electronic recycle with the Town of Normal- on Warriner from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. By helping recycle the electronic items we reduce pollution in the landfills and many of the items are restored and given to people who would not be able to have a computer.
