"My genuine love of life experiences can be seen in the joy and beauty that I depict in my work," Frank explains. "Sometimes it can be translated into humorous events or in normal everyday life events. My hope is to convey this feeling of love for life to the viewer through the content of my art, as well as the stylization of the imagery."
Frank was born and raised in a central Illinois farm community. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from Illinois State University. Except for summers in Texas during college and about six years living in the Chicago area after college, he has spent most of his time in central Illinois.
Frank is currently showing work at the McLean County Art Center in Bloomington, Illinois. Be sure to visit Frank in 2002 at the Sugar Creek Arts Festival in Normal, July 13-14.
